The first place we landed at was Baga Beach. In the day it was chill – sand, shacks, music in the background, people relaxing. But once the sun went down, oh man, it turned into another world.
Urban Yatra told us not to miss Titto Lane, and they were right. Loud music, pubs everywhere, lights flashing – it was buzzing. We danced like crazy, met a few strangers who felt like old friends, and laughed until we lost track of time. That’s the Goa vibe we had always imagined.
The next day was Calangute Beach, which everyone calls the Queen of Beaches. First stop, the market. Small stalls with clothes, jewelry, bags – we kept bargaining and ended up buying more than we planned.
Later, we tried water sports. Parasailing was both scary and exciting (my friend almost backed out last minute 😂). The banana boat ride was pure comedy – we all toppled into the water and couldn’t stop laughing.
Hungry after all that, we grabbed food at a shack. The prawn curry was so good we ordered extra, and the fish recheado was spicy but delicious.
Another day, we drove along Para Road. The ride was beautiful – greenery all around. We clicked more than 100 photos with different poses, and honestly, it gave us complete “Dear Zindagi’ vibes.
Aguada Fort: Strong old walls, a lighthouse, and a very peaceful vibe. We just sat there for a while, taking pictures and enjoying the view.
Chapora Fort: This one was our favorite. Everyone knows it from “Dil Chahta Hai“. From the top, Vagator Beach looked amazing. We clicked tons of photos here – easily the most Instagram-worthy stop.
On the last day, Urban Yatra planned something different – Fontainhas, the Latin Quarter. Narrow streets, colorful Portuguese houses, tiny cafes, and art on the walls. It felt like we were walking in another country. Calm and relaxed – a perfect way to end the trip.
Goa gave us everything – beaches, nightlife, shopping, forts, food, and culture. More importantly, it gave us stories we’ll talk about for years.
